The recently completed remodel of Busey Bank within the Chatham Center marks the fourth suite in the building to benefit from MRG Construction’s team of professionals working together to get the job done right. Thanks to effective communication between both the client and our construction team plus impressive coordination of project logistics by project manager Jin Yoo and superintendent Ryan Kaval, the team managed to complete this project on time and under budget. The high-quality results left the client thrilled, and the advanced skillsets and capabilities of our team provide a hopeful outlook for engagements with this returning client.
This project, classified as a semi design-build, entailed our team tackling a range of tasks from tedious electrical wiring mazes, to coordinating design features and themes with the client. MRG Construction’s team embraced this project’s demanding workload, knowing that in a matter of ten weeks this suite must transform into an updated space that serves the client’s needs and reflects the configuration of a modern workplace.
During the project, open communication between the construction team and the client was integral in transforming this office to meet both form and function requirements as the client envisioned. Prior to the remodel start date, detailed meetings ensured a clear understanding of the project scope and how to manage stakeholder expectations. Once that vision was cemented, work was able to begin.
Upon entry of the suite, a main hallway that features a large conference room with floor-to-ceiling windows captures the attention of the observer. This hallway connects the largest offices and creates a streamlined path through the suite for the workers. A coat of fresh paint accented the walls of the office delivering a more visually appealing and comfortable space. Spacious cabinets and installation of new doors and windows of a matching color tie in the clients desired color scheme and make for the perfect bow on top of this rewarding project.
Congratulations to Jin, Ryan, and the MRG Construction team for a job well done, and to the client on their new space.
