The MRG Construction Corp (MRGC) team has once again demonstrated their expertise and commitment to excellence by successfully completing yet another project for the coffee giant – Starbucks. The recent completion of the build-out project at North & Cicero Ave in Chicago, IL means that it can now join the steadily growing roster of Starbucks projects that MRGC has completed over the years. This buildout began with scrapping the interior to the studs which provided the construction crew ample space to work and establish a new layout and design for the store. Upon completion of this build-out, this store would enable Starbucks employees to function at peak efficiency. Plus, the customer seating area would display the modernized version of the iconic Starbucks aesthetic in the design.
This project involved a comprehensive interior build-out for this location – a build-type strongly familiar to MRGC through the company’s ongoing relationship with Starbucks. Our full-service team consists of individuals who specialize in a variety of construction areas. Projects like this require such a diverse set of knowledge, skills, and abilities to enable the team to complete each task to the highest quality possible. From tiling and painting to the installation of new built-in furniture, cabinetry, and appliances – the MRGC team handled it all. MRGC also updated and installed new plumbing and electrical work. These improvements ensure that the Starbucks store can operate more efficiently. A functional space leads to an improved employee workflow and demeanor that allows the staff to serve the community with increased speed and convenience – all welcome improvements for the high-demand coffee shop!
The brick walls in the interior have the greatest impact on the space’s appearance. This design element adds a touch of warmth and sophistication to the customer seating section. The brick walls pair perfectly with the vibrant accent wall decal that our team also applied to the walls. The combination of these two unique design elements elevates the visual appeal of the space and the dine-in customer experience.
