MRG Construction Corp (MRGC) is thrilled to announce the successful completion of our latest buildout project for Starbucks, one of the world’s most beloved coffee chains, within in Northwest Chicago neighborhood of Dunning. As a commercial construction company, we take great pride in delivering exceptional results for our clients, and this project was no exception. Our skilled team of commercial construction professionals worked tirelessly for nearly five months to ensure that every aspect of this buildout was executed with the utmost care and attention to detail. Though we have completed projects for a number of Starbucks over the years, no two projects are the same. Each comes with its own set of challenges, goals, and design elements making each project a unique experience for every team member.
This Starbucks settled on a chic rustic atmosphere meshed with modern features such as the light fixtures, the coffee bar, and the backsplash subway tile. The combination of these design aesthetics created a welcoming, comfortable, and stylish atmosphere that the community is sure to enjoy. One of the key highlights of this project was the creation of an inviting customer seating area where Starbucks patrons can relax and enjoy their beverages. The design of the seating area was carefully planned to maximize comfort and function while maintaining a cozy atmosphere through the installation of comfy booths with charging ports for dine-in patrons. The revamped coffee bar was another notable aspect. We worked closely with Starbucks to ensure that the coffee bar was not only functional for their employees but also visually appealing through the incorporation of gorgeous light-wood slats throughout the design and sleek and spacious surfaces for work.
MRG Construction Corp distinguishes itself from the competition because we recruit an array of highly skilled and experienced tradesmen for each project. From electricians and plumbers to carpenters and painters, each member of our team plays a vital role in creating the stunning final results of each project. We would like to extend a special thank-you to two individuals in particular on the MRGC team, Connor Molk and Elizabeth Petrick who worked as the Project Manager and Superintendent, respectively, on this project. Without these devoted professionals, and every other team member on this project, we would not be able to complete intensive projects, such as this one, that require work on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance installations, and meticulous design elements.
As we reflect on the completion of this project, we are thankful for the opportunity to be part of Starbucks’ expansion and revamping efforts in Chicago once again.
